MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — The Stingettes, Alabama State University's dance team, will be featured in the yet-to-be-released Robin Thicke video for his hit "Give It 2 U."

The Montgomery Advertiser reports (http://on.mgmadv.com/1f31IW6) that the dancers worked 12- to 14-hour shifts during the two-day video shoot.

In addition to performing before a potentially international television audience was the thrill of meeting major pop star Thicke, who stopped by to talk to the dancers, gave them copies of his new CD and posed for photos with them.

The Stingettes, who perform with the ASU Marching Hornet Band, were chosen to participate in the video along with the Albany State University Golden Passionettes, a dance team from south Georgia.
