BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — A man has been sentenced to life in prison in a fatal home invasion robbery.

Brandon Hill appeared in Jefferson County Circuit Court Monday and was sentenced in the June 2011 death of Classheka Norman.

Investigators have said Norman was likely shot in her living room before being dragged to the bathroom, wrapped in a sheet and doused in gasoline. Her body was found inside the burning home.

AL.com reports (http://bit.ly/17RB2TH) 22-year-old Hill was supposed to go to trial Sept. 16 but struck a plea deal with prosecutors to avoid a potential death sentence.

Two other men, 23-year-old Justen Stinson and 20-year-old Jonathan Weston are also charged in Norman's death. Stinson is scheduled to go to trial Nov. 18, and Weston's trial is set for Feb. 24.
