South Ala trustees naming presidential finalists
MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — Trustees at the University of South Alabama are naming finalists in their search for a new president.
WALA-TV (http://bit.ly/17tVCfZ ) reports board members are expected to vote on the final candidates for the position on Friday.
A university spokesman says the vote will come after a search committee presents the names of potential candidates to the board.
Interviews with the finalists are set to begin next week.
The school is searching for a replacement for Gordon Moulton, who retired earlier this year after 46 years with the school.
The university in Mobile has more than 15,000 students enrolled this fall.
