State liquor agents have destroyed an illegal moonshine still near the Midway community near Eufaula in Barbour County.

The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board announced agents found the 18-barrel still Tuesday. The board says the still was operational and had recently been used. No arrests were made.

The ABC Board found and destroyed another still Friday about 30 miles away in the Still Crossroads community in Bullock County.

The board says 17 moonshine stills have been destroyed since the board formed its Moonshine Task Force in October 2013. Agents have seized more than 470 gallons of moonshine with a street value of more than $14,000.
