Rainsville Shooting Wounds two Fred's employees

Harris said an extra deputy is working in Rainsville to ease fears of residents.

RAINSVILLE, Ala. (AP) -DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris says deputies have been using road blocks and stopping cars looking for the red or maroon Honda that was seen leaving the scene Friday night.
Harris said 24-year-old Josh Nance of Fyffe and 39-year-old Matt Whitt of Rainsville were shot in the back and were in serious but stable condition at Huntsville Hospital. Whitt and Nance were both employees of the store who were working near the front of the store just after closing Friday. Harris said the gunman shot both through the glass door and fled.
