From Campaign 2010 -- Republican candidate for governor Bradley Byrne has picked up an endorsement from former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.
State Sen. Hinton Mitchem - a veteran of more than 30 years in the Legislature - said Monday that he will not seek re-election this year.
From Campaign 2010 -- State Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks says if he's elected governor, he will abolish the Governor's Task Force on Illegal Gambling and call a special legislative session the day after the inauguration to try to create
a state lottery and tax and expand gambling.
Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Artur Davis wants to help create more jobs for Alabama.
