Mitt Romney's wife to visit Alabama

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Presidential candidate Mitt Romney's wife, Ann, is planning a visit to Alabama in advance of the state's presidential primary March 13.

Lt. Gov. Kay Ivey, who's leading Romney's campaign in Alabama, said Ann Romney will appear at a fundraising reception at the home of Birmingham businessman Lee Styslinger on Feb. 24. Tickets are $500 to $2,500 per person.

Ann Romney also campaigned for her husband in Alabama four years ago, when former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee won Alabama's primary.
