GOP Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich wowed a crowd of supporters at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center in Montgomery Wednesday.

Gingrich told supporters if he's elected President, he'll get gas down to $2.50 per gallon.

The former Speaker of the House revised his strategy coming off of Super Tuesday with a solitary win in his home state of Georgia.

He'll be investing three more days campaigning between Alabama and Mississippi before next week's primary.

"I think there's a very simple test question for every voter in Alabama to ask themselves before they vote in the primary next week. Do you want somebody who actually is capable of changing Washington, has proven they're capable of changing Washington? Or do you want somebody that has good consultants and makes good speeches?" Gingrich asked.

Gingrich primarily talked about the need for drilling for more oil in the United States by opening up some of the protected federal land in Alaska, going through with the Keystone Pipeline, and developing natural gas exploration.

Alabama's primary is Tuesday, March 13th.
