Tools

By Dee Jackson

Former Bama quarterback Bart Starr, who's also an NFL Hall of Famer, is remembering his days playing high school football in Montgomery.

Starr played for Lanier High School. His biggest fan later became his wife, who's been at his side for 57 years.

When he was ready to graduate from high school, he was faced with a tough choice -- play for Alabama or Kentucky.

He's retired now, after becoming the MVP of the first two Super Bowls playing for the Green Bay Packers. Now he overseas many charity events, while remembering his days in Montgomery fondly.
