Road Test, Part 2

Tools

By Glenn Halbrooks

Our six volunteer drivers got some laughs while trying to make it through our obstacle course while texting behind the wheel, but we've added some new elements that have turned the laughs to concern.

As they try to avoid the cones, now they also have to dodge a ball coming toward their car and a doll that is meant to represent a small child.

By the end of their runs, the doll was mangled after being hit several times. That made our drivers think about the real-life dangers of texting and driving.
