From the West Alabama Newsroom -- Nearly four years after a Selma man is murdered only a few feet from his own front door -- there's been arrest and the case still remains unsolved.

Danny Jackson was shot and killed on the 1200 block of Washington Street back in December of 2010.

Investigators say every clue so far has led to a dead end. They say the investigation remains open but they need help from the public to crack the case and bring a killer to justice and closure for the victim's family.

Jackson was a husband and the father of three young children. His wife Cynthia Hardy, says their family is still feeling the impact of his absence. "Its difficult trying to go on each day, got to raise kids alone by yourself without their father's help," she said.
