By Amanda Wade

Alabama News Network is your Taking Action Against Crime group of stations, and tonight we conclude our special series on unsolved crimes.

We will take you to Butler County, where in August of 2011, an elderly man was brutally beaten, robbed, and left for dead in his own home.

He was immobile and unable to communicate after the attack until he passed away in February. Now, the family needs your help solving this cold case so they can find some sense of peace and justice.

It's an Alabama News Network Extra: Taking Action Against Unsolved Crimes airing tonight at 10pm on CBS 8 and ABC Montgomery.
