11 People Arrested in SWAT Raids

11 people are behind bars after raids by SWAT teams in three counties.

 

Elmore County District Attorney Randall Houston tells CBS 8 search warrants were executed in Elmore, Autauga, and Montgomery counties.

 

Houston says those arrested are suspected members of the Bloods street gang who were operating a drug distribution organization that supplied drug dealers throughout central Alabama.

 

The FBI is now searching for Kevin Levan Elmore, who they weren't able to capture today.
