9 Alabamians Added to War on Terror Memorial

Specialist Nicholas Hensley of Prattville has his name on a memorial for Alabama's fallen heroes from the War on Terror.

Hensley, 28, was one of nine soldiers added Thursday to the memorial at the Alabama Capitol. It recognizes the 133 soldiers from Alabama who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan.
   
The names added include Air Force Maj. Jeffrey Ausborn of Hokes Bluff; Marine Lance Cpl. Jason Barfield of Ashford; Army Sgt. Christopher Bell of Red Bay; Marine Staff Sgt. Stacy Green of Alexander City.
   
It also includes Army Spc. Nicholas Hensley of Prattville; Army Staff Sgt. Michael Hosey of Trussvillle; Army Staff Sgt. Joshua Lancaster of Millbrook; Alabama Army National Guard Capt. Waid Ramsey of Red Bay; and Marine Cpl. Joseph Whitehead of Axis.
