Alabama State University to Get New President

Alabama State University has chosen a new president.

Joseph Silver has been selected to be the new president. He is the provost at Clark Atlanta University and academic affairs vice president.

He will take over for William Harris who was president from 1994 to 2000, then took over again in 2008.
