Auburn Wins Home Opener, Beats Louisiana-Monroe In Over Time

Auburn got a game-winning field goal from Cody Parkey and won its home opener in exciting fashion, 31-28 over Louisiana-Monroe.

The Tigers were down 14-7 early, but came back to take the lead thanks to two huge plays- a wide receiver touchdown pass to quarterback Kiehl Frazier and later a Hail Mary touchdown pass just before halftime.

Louisiana-Monroe did not go down without a fight, coming back to force overtime in the game. But Auburn's defense came up big when it needed to, blocking ULM's go-ahead field goal in overtime.

Auburn hosts LSU next Saturday.
