By Alabama News Network

The Capital City Corvette Club hosted its sixth annual car and truck show Saturday morning.

However, it wasn't just about appreciating a few hot rods.

The show raises around $5,000 for local humane shelters and the Montgomery Food Bank. About 100 different vehicles were featured in this year's show, along with a silent auction, using donations from local businesses.

For the best looking vehicles, the club gave out awards to several corvettes and trucks, plus the biggest title-the best in show.
