Copper thieves hit a business supposed to open this summer in Montgomery.

The construction foreman says thieves stole eight rolls of copper wire and a small saw from a storage unit outside the Railyard Brewery over the weekend.

The wire is valued at $25,000.

The foreman says he thinks more than one person was involved.

Police say the theft occurred sometime between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning.

If you have information, call the Montgomery Police Dept. secret witness line at (334) 262-4000.
