The "In the Country Musicfest" is underway at the Montgomery Motorsports park.

Gates opened at ten Saturday morning with performances by singers like Steve Holy, James Otto and Donica Knight.

Tickets are $35 but kids ten and under get in free.

Organizers say it is a unique event for the Montgomery area.

"I think this is the greatest country concert this summer here in the Montgomery area, and we're proud to be a part of it," Bill Dollar, Program Director of WLWI-FM, said.
