Two East Montgomery Restaurants Robbed At GunpointMontgomery police are investigating two East Montgomery restaurants robbed at gunpoint. At 11:30 a.m. Montgomery Police say mexican restaurant "No Way Jose" located on Minnie Brown Road and Fire House Subs on the Atlanta Highway were robbed within 20 minutes of each other. Police believe the two robberies are related. No one was injured during the robberies and officers already have one person in custody. I really am starting to loose hope in MPD. there have been so many robberies, shootings, murders, and negative incedents in Montgomery lately and the police force NEVER have ANY leads or clues. Question? If you are always going to turn to the public for answers knowing that no one is going to provide information out of fear...why do we need a force? I am just frustrated! I can see why citizens are moving out of Montgomery and the residents of other counties have such a negative view of the crime in our city. Montgomery is compact, but has the same crime rate as a large metro city! It makes NO SENSE! I would pay more taxes for an effective police force!
