Hundreds packed the streets on Dexter Avenue and near the Alley station on Saturday and Sunday, and another 200 showed up for the final day of the festival.

Sunday's festivities included the famous green beer, St. Patrick's Day music, and traditional Irish food like shepherd's pie and corned beef cabbage

The Irish Bred Pub has been open about a month in downtown Montgomery, and feel like their first celebration is successful with enough fun to go around for all ages.

Joseph Garofalo, owner of the Irish Pub, says they have seen a lot of families and couples show up for Sunday's festival.

"We are still serving all of the traditional favorites corned beef cabbage and shepherd's pie. We have the leprechaun running around and we are giving away stuff. We'll have traditional irish music all day into the night," Garofalo said.

The St.Patrick's Day celebrations will last until 10pm Sunday  with live music and entertainment on all three floors of the pub and in the streets.
