Walk/Run Raises Thousands of Dollars for Family Guidance Center

Today marks the fifth annual walk-run for Montgomery's Family Guidance Center which offers counseling, mentoring and other services for the community.

About 700 people showed up at the shoppes of Eastchase counting all the runners, walkers and volunteers.

Participants had the choice to walk, or run along the route.

It goes a long way toward helping the center reach its goals bringing in about 20,000 dollars that helps keep the center running for the rest of the year.
