EXCLUSIVE:Three Dead Bodies Found in Georgia; Family Members Speak Out

Two men and a woman, all from Montgomery, are found dead in a car on the side of Interstate-85 in Georgia . A family member speaks exclusively to CBS 8 News about what happened.

Yellow tape blocks the side of Interstate-85 in Union City, Georgia about 20 miles from Atlanta. Police search for answers after they found a car sitting on an exit ramp Sunday morning. Police say inside the car were three dead bodies.

"I got a call from my brother yesterday morning, probably after noon, saying that detectives had gotten in contact with him," Holly House says. "They found her car, and three persons were in the car, and we needed to come up and ID them."

Holly House says the woman found dead in the trunk was her niece, 32-year-old Cheryl Colquitt-Thompson.

She says her niece's boyfriend,  43-year-old Rodney Cottrell, and her brother, 31-year-old Quinones King, were found dead in the backseat.

"He adored his kids and his family, and would go out of the way to help any and everybody. He was my little big brother," House says.

House says it's still unclear why the three were in Georgia, and as of now, Union City Police are giving little detail to what happened. But House says they have told her, foul play is involved.

"My biggest fear is that they suffered," she says.

Montgomery Police are helping with the investigation.

"We've been in contact with the Union City Police Department. We have furnished them with information," says Police Chief Kevin Murphy.

House says she won't rest until she finds out what happened to her niece and brother, and while she spoke to them just days before the incident, she wishes she could talk to them just one more time.

"The only thing I could say to them, would be to find out what happened. I know I can't bring them back and nobody else can," she says.

House is asking for the public's help. She says if you know anything, or knew why they were in Georgia to begin with, please reach out to the family or the police.
