Tools

By Ellis Eskew

First United Methodist Church in Montgomery is collecting food in their annual drive.

This year they have a little competition going on just in time for the Iron Bowl.

They are asking people to donate non-perishable food, and when you do, you can support either Alabama or Auburn.

All donations benefit Good Samaritan Ministries.

Items being collected include: canned meats, fruits, and vegetables, instant potatoes, rice, stuffing mix, and peanut butter and jelly.

You can drop off the donations at the First United Methodist Church in Cloverdale Park and look for the red and blue containers.

Collections can be made until November 18th.
