Former Gov. Siegelman's Daughter Continues Plea for His Release
The daughter of former governor Don Siegelman continues to petition President Obama for his release from prison. Dana Siegelman says she wants a review of the country's justice system to be a top priority for the president. She says her father is strong and positive, and has been working on a book during his time in prison. He has also recently gained the support of a Florida congressman for clemency. Siegleman has been in a Louisiana prison since September. He's serving a six and a half year sentence for bribery and conspiracy. |

What an idiot.....He is right where he needs to be in jail....I hate that he has all this free time to write a book...Look for it soon at your neighborhood Dollar Tree.

Dana Siegelman is making the right argument: for the President to correct the nation's justice system. It is not about freeing a criminal. Rather, we need to correct the vulnerability of our justice system to manipulation by organized criminal elements to falsely imprison honest public officials.
