One of the defendants in the gambling corruption trial was laid to rest Thursday.

Funeral services were held for Ray Crosby at The Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Montgomery.

Crosby was found dead in his bed at his Montgomery home Sunday.

Montgomery police are awaiting toxicology results to determine the cause of death.

Crosby was facing a bribery charge in the bingo corruption case.  Because of Crosby's sudden death, jury selection in the gambling corruption re-trial is postponed until Monday.
