MPD Investigating City's 38th Homicide of 2013

The Montgomery Police Department is investigating the city’s 38th homicide this year following the shooting death early Tuesday morning of 32-year-old Jermol Garrett.

MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 3300 block of Cross Ridge Road shortly after midnight after receiving a report of a subject shot. At the scene, they located Garrett, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Garrett was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding this fatal shooting are under investigation. No arrests have been made.

Garrett’s death is Montgomery’s 38th homicide of 2013. No additional information is available for release relative to this ongoing investigation.

Police ask individuals with knowledge of this homicide to call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP, Secret Witness at 262-4000, or the Montgomery Police Department at 625-2831.

Thats my bestfriend husband he was like a brother to me all this killing needs to stop he was a good hearted person. They killing an gettin away with murder whom ever killed him ask yourself "WAS IT WORTH IT TAKING HIM FROM HIS FAMILY GOD ISNT SLEEP YOU WILL BE FOUNDED AND LOCKED UP "
