Man Charged With Allegedly Hitting, Killing Pedestrian

A Montgomery man is under arrest for allegedly hitting and killing a pedestrian.

It happened yesterday at about 11:30 in the 1900 block of Yarbrough Street. That's where police say Kevin Crosskey hit 2 pedestrians and a parked car with his vehicle. 25-year-old Ashlee Mock was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other pedestrian was taken to the hosptial with life-threatening injuries. Crosskey received minor injuries.
 

This is the city's sixteenth traffic fatality of the year.
