A manhunt in Autauga County comes to an end.

David Hunter was captured in the woods off of County Road 68 around 9 o'clock.

Hunter escaped yesterday morning, when authorities came to a house he was at off of Highway 31- to serve a search warrant. He escaped out of a window.

Authorities say Hunter was hiding in the woods and came out this the afternoon. He approached someone at their home, but was chased off by the property owners with a baseball bat.

Authorities say Hunter ran back into the woods but tracking dogs traced his scent, making it easier to find him.
