By Heather VacLav

A manhunt is underway as Montgomery Police search for a suspect on the run from Wilcox County.

Wilcox County Sheriff Earnest Evans tells CBS-8 News the man Montgomery Police officers are searching for is 24-year old Justin Miles of Wilcox County.

Sheriff Evans says Miles is accused of shooting two people at a nightclub in Lower Peach Tree Saturday night. Evans says the two victims have since been released from the hospital.

Miles is also out on bond for shooting into an occupied building and criminal mischief last month.

However, the Montgomery Police Department will not confirm Justin Miles as the man involved in their search.

CBS-8 News was first on the scene of the man hunt and our crews say officers started searching for the suspect near West South Blvd and Davenport, and ended in the woods near Gaston Drive and Iris Avenue

Montgomery Police tell CBS-8 News they no longer have the subject in sight, but continue the search.

Thanks for the clear, concise description. We will be on the lookout for "a man who may or may not be named Justin". :/
