The first day of March Madness is underway... And already living up to its name.

"I'm pretty mad. My bracket is a little messed up so far. Got teams dropping. Not too good right now. March is getting me," said Hunter Lanier.

Lanier and his teammates are passing through Montgomery on their way to a tennis tournament.

But right now basketball is on their minds.

"It's been crazy, whole bus ride up they have been debating it, checking scores on ESPN. They're into it," said teammate Bronson Wessinger.

As for who is going to win it all, the answers we got were literally all over the map.

"We think Gonzaga's going to win," said Shannon Jenkins.

"Of course, Kansas! Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!"

Jody Mitchell is a proud supporter of his home state.

"Kansas State is in, which I don't like, but they are still from Kansas. Our 3 major college teams made the tournament. Things are looking pretty good. Absolutely, best state for basketball," said Mitchell.

But others might have to disagree...

"I was very surprised to watch Southern University take Gonzaga to the end right there. Think they won by 4 or 6 points. At the end of the day... Louisville will be cutting down the nets," said Herbert Hunter.

However, one group of teenage girls have another team in mind, and their guesses are as good as anyone's.

"Indiana...Because they are the highest ranked and they've got the best chance," said Jenkins.
