Monster Truck Fans Turn Out for Monster "X" Tour
The Monster "X" Tour Friday night at the Garrett Coliseum was everything you'd hoped it would be. Fans came out to see the trucks and enjoy a big show. They got a chance to actually take part in the Pit Party before the show began, even riding in the back of the truck. And they were also able to get up close and personal with the trucks and the drivers. For many of them, it was a family night to see the ten thousand pound, car crushing giants compete in racing, wheelie contests, and then rock the house with amazing freestyle action. 6 year old Spencer Glenn was excited to see monster trucks. "Having that rush of that little kid coming up to you and being their hero, it's amazing. Driving the trucks is fun, but you can go out and get that rush of adrenaline anywhere. But getting out there, meeting people, you can only get that here," said "Bigfoot" Driver, Darron Schnell. The Monster "X" Tour will run through Saturday, February 16th at GArrett Coliseum. The show starts at 7:30pm, with the Pit Party at 6pm. Prices for the truck show range from five dollars to 45 dollars. For tickets, click here or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000. |
