Expansion could be on the way for Montgomery's entertainment district.

A possible expansion could include the new Railyerd Brew Pub, Riverwalk Stadium, and the riverfront.

Montgomery mayor Todd Strange say the district can go half a mile in any direction from the center. This allows people to be able to walk from venue to venue with an open beverage and provides for a display of public art.

It is up to the city council to expand the entertainment district.  Mayor Strange says he will propose The expansion at the next city council meeting.
