A Montgomery County man is dead after his vehicle collides with a train.

State troopers say the crash happened about 10:30 on Wares Ferry road in Montgomery County.

They say the driver of the vehicle was the only person in the car...when it crossed the tracks...colliding with the train.

The man died at the scene.

State troopers say the crossing is marked with signals, but this isn't the first time a train-vehicle crash has happened here.

State troopers say they are still investigating what led up to the crash.

The man's name is not being released while troopers notify his family.

This is a terrible intersection in a road way heavily travelled by workers going and coming and casino players. It is often hard to see and the driving pressure causes many to not slow down to look - or to stop. This place needs a set of electronically controlled arms to prevent more accidents.
