Lapine Man Dies in Shooting, Marks Montgomery's 31st Homicide

A Lapine man dies from gunshot wounds after a late Saturday shooting.

Just before10 p.m. Saturday night, Montgomery Police arrived at the 3500 block of Clearview Street after reports of shots fired in the area.

MPD found 25-year old Andre Jones at the scene, suffering from a gunshot wound. Jones was later pronounced dead at Jackson Hospital.
 
There are no suspects in custody at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
