Montgomery Police are asking you for help solving a series of business burglaries involving laptop computers.

Police say in the last few months, 47 laptops have been stolen from several different buildings. The equipment is valued at around $40,000.

Police say the thieves get inside the business before it closes, then wait until everyone leaves to make their move.

Police say the laptops are not being pawned -- they're being sold on the street.

If you have any information about these crimes, call the Montgomery Police Dept. secret witness line at (334) 262-4000.
