Montgomery Police Investigating 40th Homicide

Montgomery police are investigating the city's 40th homicide.

The shooting happened on Chatham Place near Martin Luther King Elementary School a little before 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon.  The school was placed lockdown while police investigated the shooting.  Police identified the victim as  23-year-old Demarcus Pringle of Montgomery.  Police say it was a domestic dispute.

No arrests have been made.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict the shooter to be a young black male between 17 and 22 years old. Anybody wanna bet?
