Less than 50% of Students Graduating from Jeff Davis High School
In the coming weeks, The State Department of Education is using a new formula to show the actual amount of graduates who walk across the stage. The new rates show 49% of students at
Statewide, 72% of The Department of Education says the old formula used up to 2010, included students who received a completion certificate or took more than 4 years to graduate. However, the new formula is said to better measure progress in Montgomery Public Schools.

i just graduated from jefferson davis yesterday our class was 324 and we only had 400 plus seniors so i dont understand how they came up with 49% walking across the stage

Montgomery school districts education systems are horrible.You have schools that dont have enough books and focus more on dress code than education.Its not only the students fault they are failing its the systems fault starting at the school.board
