U.S. Department of Health and Human Services officials say they're working on finishing the list of health insurance plans that will be made public in October.

Coverage under those plans start on January 1st.

That gives people without insurance a 3 month window to comply with the new health care law's mandate to have insurance or face tax penalties.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield officials say their plans have received federal approval.

United Healthcare and Humana representatives say they're still waiting for final word.
