Fire Causes Severe Smoke Damage, Leaves Montgomery Family Homeless

A Montgomery family is left without a home after a fire broke out in their apartment complex.

The fire happened Saturday afternoon at the 5700 block of Gaslight Curve.

When fire marshals arrived to the scene, they could see smoke.

Fortunately, no one was at home when the fire ignited, but the apartment experienced heavy damage as well as smoke damage to the other surrounding apartments

No one was injured, and fire officials are still trying to determine what caused the fire.
