Highland Home Man Dies in Saturday Morning Crash

One person is dead after a two vehicle crash Saturday morning.

State troopers tell us 24- year -old Cody Peterson of Highland home was killed after the vehicle he was driving, collided with another car.

It happened just after 3a.m. this morning on Mount Zion Road, 12 miles South of Montgomery.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Peterson was not wearing his seatbelt. Troopers are still investigating the crash
