SLE Rodeo Kicks Off in Montgomery

It's that time of year again, where cowboys across the Southeast compete to see who can come out on top, and on Thursday, Mongtomery kicked off the 56th annual SLE Rodeo at Garret Coliseum.

"This rodeo has a lot for fans to come and enjoy and events to take in with the family

. One of the great things about this rodeo is it is a family-friendly event, and fans that come, they can come and enjoy so many events," said Erin Beasley, of the Cattleman's Association of Alabamaand son.

The rodeo runs through Saturday night. You can buy your tickets at the

That's kept families coming year after year.

"Back when we were real small, coming to the rodeos, that was the most exciting part of the week was coming to the rodeos, especially on Saturdays," said Jerry Mann, who was attending the rodeo with his wife
