State Health Officer: 'Worst Flu Season Alabama Has Seen'

The flu virus is spreading fast in River Region. Today the State Health Department put out a warning that this flu strand is severe.

 CBS 8 News sat down with State Health Officer Don Williamson. He says there is an epidemic in Alabama, and says emergency rooms and health clinics throughout the River Region are packed.

Health Clinics like American Family Care on the Eastern Bypass have seen a couple hundred flu patients in the last two weeks.
