State troopers say they are taking extra precaution this Labor Day weekend to keep drunk drivers off the road.

Public safety officials say the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign will last through midnight Monday. It began Friday night.

According to state troopers, six people died in traffic accidents last Labor Day weekend in Alabama, and alcohol was a factor in at least three of those.

Authorities say none of the people killed were wearing a seatbelt.
