Saturday runners laced up their sneakers with a purpose to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association Muscle Walk.

Several teams competed at the Montgomery Zoo all in hopes to reach their goal of raising money for the muscular dystrophy association.

Firefighters and other public official came and showed support for the cause.

And while mom and dad walked, the zoo had face painting and peel-off tattoos for the kids.
