Two Elmore County Escapees Caught in Florida

Two men who escaped from the Elmore County Detention Center have been captured.

Elmore County Sheriff Bill Franklin tells CBS 8 News that Jamie Morgan and Lamar Hadden were caught at a hotel in Pensacola, Florida.

The two men escaped on Sept. 18. At the time, they'd last been seen going up U.S. Highway 231 across the Coosa River and into the Whitewater subdivision on highway 111 in Wetumpka.
