A warehouse fire in Montgomery brought a threat of a chemical explosion.

The fire happened at a maintenance and parts facility for concrete company Couch Ready Mix USA, just off North Boulevard. 

Montgomery fire crews had the fire out in less than 20 minutes, but there was widespread damage inside.

Nine fire crews were used.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
