If you recently bought or want to buy a new energy-star appliance, you could get a rebate. The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affiars says $1.8 million in rebates remain to be used. The appliance must be an energy efficient machine. The rebates run from 25 to 150 dollars. More information on rebates
