Information about Alabama's Sales Tax Holiday on Storm Supplies

Alabama's state sales tax holiday on storm supplies is being held July 6-8, 2012.

It's designed to get everyone ready for the next time severe weather threatens the state.

During the holiday, the state will waive its 4% state sales tax on certain supplies and equipment. Click here for a complete list of eligible items.

In addition, many cities and counties are dropping their local sales taxes on those items. Click here to find out which local governments are also dropping their taxes during the holiday weekend.
