The two men vying for the Senate District 30 Seat duke it out at a debate. Alabama News Network was the only television station capturing the tense moments. Clyde Chambliss and Harris Garner say they are against Common Core but what Chambliss calls experience, Garner calls status quo. He tells us he believes Chambliss is trying to buy the seat. While Chambliss says his experience has better prepared him.

Harris Garner had this to say..." I can tell you the tune of the money he's got from special interest groups, i dont know, they evidently got a reason to invest that kind of money."

Clyde Chambliss had this to say..."I have a 14 year track record that proves otherwise. I am my own man. Ive always been my own man"

The runoff election is set for July 15.
